Abstract:
We will explore the process of solving a math problem using parallel processing and MPI. As an example, we will solve a discrete Poisson equation using Jacobi's method. Basic issues in developing, optimizing, and deploying parallel algorithms on a cluster of CPU's will be discussed. Here is a link to his talk.
